Technically it's Xena fanfiction, but it's really about the obsolete letter and the lingistic footprints it left behind. (Interestingly, for a show I only ever saw two and a half episodes of, and have never gone seeking fanfiction of, I've stumbled across and been quite entertained by a couple of Xena fics and giggled to the point of rib pain at a Xena filk. (Okay, it was one particular line that kept getting me giggling so much I had trouble reading past it, but still...). Apparently the show really inspired its fans.)
