I like the lighting and contrast on the cat pix. I also liked the perspective and angles on the van distorted brick house wall pic. The bird picture's texture was interesting through the mesh and all, kind of an almost painting like quality sorta kinda nifty cool.

On the re-enactors picture, think angles and perspectives like you did in the van picture. Even a "newsie" shot can be made a LOT more interesting by either a VERY high perspective, or a very low one. Sometimes even waist level in the middle of the action (when possible) can make for some interesting photos.

Photos are SO much fun :-)

Thanks and thanks; as for the Hastings shot, I've never been quite satisfied with any of the battle photos I've taken there, largely because I've never been really happy with the angles and sight-lines I've been able to get at that site.

Hmm. I wonder whether that spot is visible from one of the windows of the house/museum ...
