In my experience with dizziness, you really need to go to a dizzy doc (otoneurologist/neurootologist).
I had good luck at Hopkins. I know that if you can find a way to get in to see them, they are actually *competent* when it comes to dizziness, which is more than I can say for certain other doctors who shall remain nameless....
A regular neurologist is apt to just refer you to a neurooto anyway...
