You can buy porn at every newsstand...but a woman breastfeeding in public gets odd looks. People have strange priorities...

Not strange at all. One is about fantasies and the "male gaze" that women are objects to be sexualized. Put a real woman in place of a semi-pornographic object, someone who doens't exist solely for the sexualization of others, than you start getting men pissed off.
