I think that at long last I may have solved that DOOO[1] puzzle that had been bugging me, as I mentioned this morning. I'm fighting pain and noise-sensitivity this afternoon so my concentration ain't good, but it looks like I managed to get the parallel changes to various functions, function calls, and structs to all line up, and Clive still compiled ...

I've just posted, a couple minutes ago, an entry backdated to one o'clock this morning. I didn't get the 'you can't do that because a later entry already exists' error message this time, and it appears in the right place on my recent-entries page. But I've one more test: where do y'all see it on your reading-page -- back where it would be if I really had posted it at 1:00, or just before this one but with an incongruous timestamp?

[1] The date-out-of-order option that I couldn't find any info about in the LJ API docs the last time I tried to fix this problem.

Darn. Thanks.

At least I can post a backdated entry now, even if it appears in the wrong place in the timeline for others, so that's a little progress, and a rather crucial bit.

From the recent entries or calendar/month views I see it in sequence, timestamped 01:00 on the 29th. If I'm going entry by entry, I get things in a different sequence, and I don't get the same sequence stepping forward as stepping backwards. But I've seen this same problem on LJ, before I started using DW. DooO postings never did get inserted into the prev/next linked lists properly. (So when I come back from webless vacations, I post my catch-up entries in sequence, with adjusted dates.) This DW import from LJ brought its sequence conflicts along on DW.
