Well. While I see what he's getting at, there's armed and there's armed. "Armed" does not generally imply ability, merely a physical state of carriage. "Musician" implies ability; a better analogy might be had by replacing "armed" with "marksman".

I completely agree. And if I picked up a baseball bat
I'm armed, whether that's what I intended when I picked
it up, or not.
