I think you should be stripped of the title 'journalist' if you don't do that fact checking.

So, no, it's not really your choice: if you make that choice, you should be drubbed out of your position.

If only that were the case.
But we have reached the point where news organizations
openly proclaim their biases, and no one blinks.
