A chunk of the problem comes about when the person in need of education expects to have it handed to them on a plate. There's a difference between asking "where should I look?" (which might be a pointer to a book or an online FAQ or a video or the suggestion to read a particular writer or google something) and expecting the oppressed person to patiently rephrase that book, FAQ, etc. for you in the way you find most convenient and comfortable.
