Aw, thank you for the reference. Making your Quote of the Days is one of the metrics I use for validating that one of my humor essays actually succeeded.
That said I can't explain what went wrong with the copy editing in this. I'm very sorry for that. Obviously it ought to end up ``someone imagined doors before there were doors''.
