Preach it, brother! This year I saw Christmas decorations for sale in the middle of October. I am disgusted.
My family usually put up the tree a few days befor Christmas, sometimes as late as the 23rd. We took the decorations off on January 5, but left the tree up for another day for my brother, who was born on Epiphany. We put cards received in the mail on the tree along with any gifts small enough not to fall off; the rest were put under the tree. The next day we took the tree down.
