"Has anybody noticed that the people who darkly warn about government bureaucrats forcing insurance companies to cut back our coverage appear to be the same ones who just voted to force insurance companies to stop covering abortions? Where's the sanctity of the marketplace when we really need it?" -- Gail Collins, 2009-11-19 (copied from an excerpt at DKos because the NY Times site is a PITA)

I missed that one, but I did notice that the only worker's right that they care about is the right not to perform abortions or facilitate contraction (I'm not sure whether the latter is all contraception so far, or just Plan B).

It's all contraception. Some of them justify it by referring to forms of contraception that their propaganda has convinced them are "really" abortion, but there are others who just want the right to refuse to dispense contraception to women they think are unmarried, etc.
