Though having looked at the excerpts from your link, I have to say I'm reminded of one of T's professors from when she was working on her psych Master's thesis. This was a guy who did experiments with rats, and his comment on her survey research on eating disorders was "I don't see how you're going to get any valid results with human subjects."

I am not making this up or exaggerating in the slightest.
