I'm glad you have someplace reasonably comfortable to ride out the storm. Around here, they're saying that we haven't had a storm like this one since the '30's, so your memories of Agnes and Gloria might not prepare you for what's coming....
The thing I always worry about in a big storm is the electricity. My C-PAP machine (the thing that forces air down my throat while I'm asleep, to treat my sleep apnea) runs on electricity, and if I don't have my machine, I basically don't sleep at all. If the power goes out for a few days, that could get really ugly.
