"I live in Oakland, and I would say most cops are pretty good cops. Those good cops standing around that violent coward, who will say nothing, and not turn in a fellow cop, even though they KNOW he was in the wrong... They just became bad cops. [...] They are accessories to an assault, and they will never serve time. Shame on them." -- colinadams, 2011-11-07 [Context, as if it's needed considering the number of incidents that happen regularly: Oakland police officer, unprovoked and not threatened, fires a "less lethal" round at a videographer with no warning.]

If those in law enforcement were doing more to speak against and combat police brutality, the rest of us wouldn't even have to.

Police who cover for other police who do things like shoot gas cannisters in people's faces and break their damn skulls need to be serving time. And by posting this "only cops can comment on the behaviour of cops" stuff, you, Anonymous Coward whoever you are, just became the same as those bad police covering for the genuine thugs.
Thin blue line, my ass. More like a less-yellow version of Fenway's Green Monster.
