The Approximately-Annual Darkover Pick-Up Band Recruiting Post

I'd hoped to have a few more details before posting this, but seeing as the clock is winding down ...

If you're a musician planning to attend Darkover this coming weekend in Timonium, Maryland, there's still plenty of room in the pick-up band for the Regency Ball (Saturday night, 5-7 PM). If you'd like to join in, or are considering it, drop me a line (dglenn@panix.com) and I'll make sure you know what I know about the set list and rehearsal opportunities shortly after I know it.

(Also, in case I don't get around to posting separately about this: The Homespun Ceilidh Band will be performing Friday night and Saturday afternoon at Darkover.)

I'll be playing three-fingered cello, since the little finger is having tendon problems, but I'll be there. Might even bring the fiddle as well, for the 3 pm fiddling workshop.

I'll be there. I will, in fact, likely bring Mom. I will buy a membership for her; any chance for a comp for the players?
