My child-geek experience involving teeth was when I lost a tooth but my parents didn't immediately know, so I decided to conceal the fact to test the tooth-fairy premise. The next day, assured of what I had strongly suspected, I then announced the "newly-lost" tooth and made sure I got the loot the next night. :-)
