Yeah. I have no idea how something copyright 1991 manages to cite something published in 1995, either. You'd think someone that good at time travel could just go back and check the slang used by 16th c. French homosexuals." -- [livejournal.com profile] siderea, 2006-03-05

[Hmm. I guess I ought to use the icon made from a photo shot at one of our concerts, huh?]

This coming Saturday, The Homespun Ceilidh Band has two gigs on the same day. Like the same weekend last year, we're doing a free concert in Gaithersburg, Maryland after the St. Patrick's Day parade in the morning (yeah, I know, it's not on St. Patrick's Day -- but I imagine it'd be a lot harder to get as many participants and spectators on a weekday morning) and a reasonably-priced concert in Greenbelt, Maryland in the evening. According to the weather forecast I heard, it's supposed to be a comfortable temperature for the outdoor gig (Gaithersburg) this year. So all y'all in MD, DC, and Northern VA, come on out to listen and watch (and buy our CDs)!

I'm going to save myself a lot of typing and just copy/paste a section from the newsletter Felicia emailed:
