Perrine can be very patient about waiting to be fed, usually just siting on me or near me and watching my face without any vocalizations or gestures or poking (though once I get up she does do the "follow me to the kitchen damn it" dance)

On the other paw, when it comes to being skritched, or some time with the slicker brush, or sitting on my lap after I've returned from being out of the house (or after I get out of the shower and she realizes I'm planning to go out), she's extremely impatient. She makes sure I know how very urgent her demands are, with cries and gestures and batting me with her paw and attempting to pin me down with her feline variable-gravity superpower.
