I'm so tired of the *system failure* framing & language that is applied to every single OPPRESSIVE institution in this country. ICE is not a *system failure.* It's an institution that was created to do EXACTLY what it's currently doing. CRITICS OF ICE existed before its creation. People have to STOP acting like the architects of these policies 'just didn't know better' or 'couldn't predict the consequences' of their actions and decisions.
