Back when I was a regular on the Witcher forum, I asked our Polish members (The Witcher is a computer game made by a Polish company, based on a series of Polish fantasy novels) many questions about the books and their relationship to the game and their relationship to Polish culture and things about Polish history and how that was reflected in the novels and ... well, lots of things.
Most of the Poles were thrilled that the international community was finally taking an interest in all things Polish, but some of them were a bit disconcerted at just HOW interested I seemed to be. One finally said, "Corylea, do you want to know EVERYTHING?" I blinked. Well, of course. Ah, right, most people don't, do they? *sigh* I get to be a weirdo even among obsessed Witcher fans.
I resemble that remark
