In the introduction to Doctor Sleep, Stephen King mentions he used to play with Warren Zevon from time to time when he (King) was in the Rock Bottom Remainders. Zevon apparently liked to do guest appearances with them. There's no real point to sharing that, other than that it's a literary connection with Zevon, and I thought you might like to know. :)

Well, I have heard of people talk about books in terms of return of entertainment dollars ("comes to $1 per hour of reading...") but I don't know anyone whose main criterion is that, either.
