We put a Chicago politician in the white house, and the white house bathroom still has fixtures in it, which means we're ahead of the game. Obama is a *successful* parasite; he's actively trying to avoid killing the host off which he feeds. This is in direct contrast to his predecessor and opponents, who simply want to kill it (us) and feed off the body.
*Parasites* I can live with. Literally. Easier to deal with a tapeworm than an opportunistic predator.
