She's still scarily underweight and missing half her fur. (She looks okay from a distance -- she started with a LOT of fur -- but up close I can see bits of skin where it goes over a sharp curve and the fur parts. Basically it looks like she's missing her undercoat.)
This happened to my cat toward the end, including the gradual loss of undercoat (he passed earlier this year) along with gradual weight loss and inability to eat, after literally five years of almost daily - during better times, it'd be weekly - throwing up, usually multiple times a day, but presenting no other signs until the near end besides possibly excessive thirst. According to the vet it was lifelong kidney failure. Hoping your cat's case will be a much less serious one and hope she gets better. Best of luck to you both.
