American fascism is also people who put "free speech" in quotes, who claim the First Amendment excludes "hate speech," who try to silence speakers they disagree with. It's those who want to expand the use of the terrorist watch list, which people can be placed on without notice or explanation. It's those who want to deny us the freedom to communicate without being spied on. It's those who conduct endless foreign wars and ally with brutal governments. There's plenty of fascism to go around in both of the big two parties, as well as in fringe movements of both the "right" and "left."
