Fell asleep as daylight faded. When my bladder woke me there were flashing lights of crison and azure, and a wrecker winching a car off the front steps of a boarded-up house across the intersection. Guessing another car probably helped it get there, most likely fools driving through that intersection too fast. (each thinking, "I'm on a _major_ street, so all side-street traffic will surely yield to me"). Forty minutes after that, street lights came on for most of my block, but not all the way to my house or the corner -- traffic signals, and my house, are still dark.

Hauled a bunch of stuff downstairs to plug into my Pennsic batteries to recharge for a spell.

Wondering how far away I have to order pizza from, to find a place that's had power today to be running their kitchen.
