"It's only a matter of time until employers realize the Myers-Briggs types are meaningless and then only a matter of a little more time until they're replaced by Harry Potter houses" -- Katie Mack (@AstroKatie), 2018-08-14

"Actually, at one of my postdoc interviews, I responded to a question about my personality with, 'Well, I'm a Gryffindor with excessively Ravenclaw tendencies,' and the PI responded with, 'Me too! You'd fit well, here.'" -- Kelsey Jarrett (@SheScientist), replying to @AstroKatie

When I was teaching Business Leadership and personality types were on the curriculum, I told the kids that they could use any of the ones businesses use to categorize themselves or they could sort themselves into Harry Potter houses or use the D&D alignment grid.

Now to figure out which ones employers are looking for. I'm pretty much chaotic good (at least I try) but I don't think any employer wants to hear "if I think what you tell me to do is cruel or bigoted I won't do it."
