I dig your positivity. I mean, I'm out on the streets, I'm knocking on doors, I'm talking to my colleagues and neighbours. I'm not American, though and I'm just seeing the vast majority of left-leaning Americans—which in itself is a self-selecting group–focused entirely on electing a government slightly less hostile to brown people in 2020, when you're long past elections as a means to turn back this tide.

Not that Canadians are any better; we're about to gleefully head down the same dark path next year.
