Yah, quoted photo, but I too have an orange cat now -- a dilute orange tabby named Guillaume -- whom I need to start posting photos off. Well, my alleged cat ... when I described him to folks at Chessiecon, three people independently came up with the same hypothesis I had: he might be an alien in a cat costume, who was inadequately briefed on the species he's impersonating. He sometimes sounds like The Penguin, and he bugs me for tastes of spices -- he likes oregeno more than he likes catnip, and will happily lick up chili powder, for example.
I'm still working on teaching him that when a mint or a cough drop is in my mouth it is mine, and he shouldn't try to crawl into my mouth after it.

I've been told that mint is closely related to catnip. Most of my cats have been very interested when I make mint tea. Fortunately, nobody has tried to actually reach into my mouth for mints or cough drops. You have a special kitty there...
