I've seen him twice in concert - both times he was blown away by the opening act.
First time it was this Fat Man named Leslie West. He used to have a little group called Mountain? Yeah. That guy. He was awesome.
The second time was Ted was paired with this up and coming group called Van Halen. Yeah. Those guys.
He was a one note showman. Nuff said.
