that's certainly a profound truth, and imo not just related to transness, thinking of folks with sensory issues/other stuff trying to find Clothes That Suit.

Shame that the original tweet about gender reveal parties is no longer public and the author not able to be credited. She should be bought many beers.

I've said elsewhere that gender reveal parties are a great idea - for 16 year olds. You get a party, gifts, cake, and you wear fancy formal-wear to indicate your gender.
