"Eros shook my mind like a mountain wind falling on oak trees" -- Sappho (b. circa 630 BCE, d. circa 570 BCE), via sapphobot, which (mostly?) uses translations by Anne Carson
Argh. Twitter @ names used to pass through unmodified, but then DW made them a shorthand for <user> (not unreasonably) ... eventually I noticed, and rewrote my QotD script so that it's supposed to catch those and change @sapphobot (for example) to @sapphobot.twitter, which in turn seems to be a shorthand for <user="sapphobot" site="twitter"> as illustrated above ... but for some reason my script is inconsistent about pattern-matching '@'. *grumble* I'll get it working right eventually.
Trying the '@sapphobot.twitter' syntax here to make sure ... sapphobot

(I'm not proud to say I had to lookup how you link to external sites from Dreamwidth.)
