Alrighty then ... I was getting tired of saying, and hearing, the phrase "President-elect Obama". Not that I'm too lazy to pronounce two extra syllables, just that it feels like I've been waiting for today for so very long.

Even worse were all the bloggers who referred to him as "PEBO." It's even worse than "POTUS," which was just Secret Service shorthand for the president until a bunch of people decided it was cool. -- doubleplus
