Molly Ivins was very smart and funny. I wonder what she'd say now with the loser we just told: "You're Fired!" Sadly, it can get even worse if all the wonderful demonstrators don't stay actively involved.
Pres Elect Biden has talked a good game. Now we have to see that he walks the walk he talked. Historically, that hasn't happened almost ever. From when i started paying attention to politics, the Pres did pretty much the opposite that the campaign message was. Clinton campaigned on passing NAFTA, and then, just to ruin my understanding, went and passed it. Is it the exception that proves the rule?
One final comment: It's not Biden who's the bogeyman... it's those in the shadows, "TPTB", who think they get to run the show and get to give the orders that we have to actively struggle against. And, no, that's not a "conspiracy theory" since it's well documented in the historical record.
