Some Scottish Christmas music for everyone, by way of emailing audio files back and forth over the last couple days and an overnight editing session: "Rorate" for violin and guitar, recorded by me and my bandmate, Karen Osborne[*] -- https://youtu.be/0yjqfrfbu24 Enjoy! (And share!)

[*] Author of Architects of Memory which I loved, and the coming-soon Engines of Oblivion which I am looking forward to reading.

Which program did you use to mix the tracks? I don't often mix multitrack recordings and I'm curious to know.

I used Audacity for recording, editing, and mixing.

Awesome! I've never used Audacity beyond stereo.

If you want something fancier I'm hearing good things about Reaper - it's multi channel, multi platform and it's free to download.

You can download and use it as a 'trial' they ask 65 dollars - but the 'trial' period is basically infinite. ;-)
