"I acually don't believe in the concept of the mid-life crisis, 'cause [...] it's just guys [...] get to a point where they can afford to buy stuff they've wanted for a long time." -- Craig Ferguson, in the opening monologue of The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson (CBS), 2007-05-17

Amen. The "crisis" is the inherent agism in negatively judging folks for enjoying stuff while in middle age.

  "mid-life crisis" ?

Not really a 'thing'. It's those who haven't aged past their childhood. Non males do it to. The toys are one way to spot it. Another is having affairs of diverse sorts, not just sexual.

Those who haven't learned to live in the day are prone to this 'crisis', which is coming to realize they're running out of time.

Enjoy this day. It's the only one you have.
