"I'm not a person who thinks the world would be entirely different if it was run by women. If you think that, you've forgotten what high school was like." -- Madeleine Albright (b. 1937-05-15, d. 2022-03-23; US ambassador to the UN 1993-1997, US secretary of state 1997-2001)

Of all the terrible things she said and did, that legitimately aged well.

Maggie Thather?

Madeleine Albright must have known her?

• As prime minister, she implemented policies that became known as "Thatcherism". A Soviet journalist dubbed her the "Iron Lady", a nickname that became associated with her uncompromising politics and leadership style.

Yeah, I remember there was a pair of mean girls who were picking on a friend, the youngest of our little deranged clique of tomboys and oddballs. I was a bit older, and concerned somehow I'd wind up in juvie hall or something, so another tomboy-like friend their age got in their faces. They left our youngest alone after that. For every hundred strong, fair, and just women in government, there is one tyrant, whose actions are often viewed to collectively represent an entire generation of women. This is why men in power who abuse it are often overlooked, but women performing the same are crucified.
