Cute turn of phrase

For some reason the punch line of today's Rose Is Rose made me think of Thespian. For anyone not reading this the day I wrote it, try here.

Pad Brady tends to take sometimes-obvious cat observations and make them clever again, as does Brooke McEldowney who draws 9 Chickweed Lane

I like the way she draws the kitten in Rose is Rose.

I *really* like self reference (since turned onto it by readin Metamagical Themas lo these many years ago), so the 9 Chickweed for today is good.
