Me too - but I'm going to a chiropractor in a few minutes. A bit nervous about it because he's not exactly the type I'm looking for but is certified in the method I want/need. Hopefully it'll go better than a lot of the other interactions I've had upon first exposure to WV people.
You can try (1) thinking of your back as wide and broad. Then breathe into it and make it/think of it as getting wider and broader. (2) Shrugging shoulders will probably make it hurt a little more, but it worth doing (especially if you shrug them down afer shrugging them up). Shrugging one side at a time as well as both sides together is usually helpful. (3)If you can get on all fours (maybe on the bed) doing the cat and the camel (arch one diection and then the other) is good. (4) You can stand with your back against the wall breathe and widen the back, step your feet out a little and bend your knees a little (maybe holding onto a chair for balance - this part could hurt more but just wait) then push yourself upward against the wall letting your back drag on the wall (this is the good part). (5) You can tip your chin downward, put your hand on your head breath and then exhale using your hand to pull your head down further. (5) You can lie on your back, bend your knees in toward your chest and lie there then keeping you back flatish (try), rotate your legs to one side (ie. put the left side of your left leg on the matress, for example) and then the other (like windshield wipers - but go slowly). (6) You can lie on your back, bend your knees a little and grab your feet/ankles with your hands and lie there.

(7) You can lay down on some ice.
Hope your back gets better!
