You can file with the consumer protection agency (usually handled on a state-to-state basis) and with the Better Business Bureau - of which AT&T is likely a member. Becuase they are such a large company, they don't need to be a member to have a file with the BBB. Most BBB stuff is also handled locally. You might not "get" anything, but at least it's officially recorded. The consumer protection agency may require AT&T to compensate you or change their policies - it's the stronger of the 2 agencies for effecting change. I've never had good luck with the AT&T telecommunications system - although I have had good experiences with their financial products. I've filed BBB reports online and consumer protection agencies I've always reported via telephone and paper. Good luck.
