Uh, that felt odd...

Wow, what an interesting feeling ... noticing a user-icon on a LiveJournal post that looks a LOT like one of my ex-girlfriends whom I haven't heard from in many years, and having to go read that LJ user's journal and profile to try to figure out whether it's my ex-girlfriend using an unfamiliar nickname.

She's not, but I had to check right away.

Sometimes I wonder just how many people I've encountered in more than one medium and not realized were the same person... I had a particularly startling experience with that in college, when it turned out that the woman I was chatting with over email about GLBT activism on campus was the same woman who was in my psych class and borrowing my snake for a presentation.

Uh, actually, I think I saw your post on the "friends of [livejournal.com profile] genderqueer" page and responded to it there. It's kind of interesting to see all the different routes by which I find / bump-into people on LiveJournal.
