Every so often I wonder why it seems like an extra-slow day on LiveJournal, and then many hours later I go to post a comment or something and finally notice that I never logged back in after restarting my browser, so I haven't been seeing all the "friends-only" entries. Whoops.

One of the links on the side of the page under "Settings" sends you to a page where you can tell the site to keep you logged in even after the browser closes. As long as you are the only typist on your machine, and have cookies enabled....

I've considered doing that, but so far security-paranoia has kept me from doing so. Doesn't happen often, but I do hand guests a keyboard from time to time.
