This strikes me as an important function of prayer. Personally, I believe it's not the only point to prayer, but it's on the list. I just never managed to say it that well.

No one should ever, *ever* play "Blitzkrieg Bop" on lute. Never!!!

That would be like re-arranging "Holiday in Cambodia" for harpsichord.

(That wasn't what you thought I was gonna comment on, was it? ;) )

Actually, that was the bit I figured you'd comment on, if any. ;-)

And it was good! Brought back memories, with a twist. Though it does have a rather different, ah, vibe/feel on the lute, I'll admit. I'll have to inflict her CD on you the first time I go to visit after picking up a copy. :-> As for "Holiday in Cambodia" ... I wonder whether I could talk [livejournal.com profile] silmaril into doing that on a harpsichord sometime just to be cruel...
