Okay, so Monday night / Tuesday morning I slept a little, in one-hour chunks. The only sleep I got on Wednesday was about a hundred minutes in the afternoon -- not enough to count, really. Did make it to rehearsals Tuesday (3LF) and Wednesday (HCB), but was extremely sleepy driving home last night. (I did stay after rehearsal to watch an episode of Angel that I'd failed to get on tape, and the one after it. I think I'm only four episodes behind, now, but I'm not sure. Given how sleepy I was in the car, maybe I shouldn't have watched the second one.)

This morning I got ten hours straight. Needed, and an improvement over the past few days. But not quite enough, so I'm hoping I get decent sleep tonight. (Failed nap attempt a few hours ago.) The two big issues right now are: feel well enough tomorrow to get some must-do-now errands taken care of, and be up for three performances over the weekend. ( Thrir Venstri Foetr ('Three Left Feet') at Marching Through Time both afternoons, and The Homespun Ceilidh Band at the Greenbelt Arts Center Saturday evening.)

I'm gonna be so tired Saturday night. I wonder whether I'll have the energy to deal with going to my mother's house Sunday night to see if my brother is up to helping me with my leaking radiator...

If anybody reading this who doesn't already know me in person comes to either gig, introduce yourself. I'll be wearing medieval garb and playing recorder and guitar at Marching Through Time (the other person matching that description will probably be wearing a brown hat with a brim; I'll be wearing a blue cap with silver lines in it). And I'll be the guitarist in a kilt at the HCB concert.

(I don't have to tell the folks who do know me to say hello, do I? ;-) No web page for the Greenbelt Arts Center as far as I know [Update: GAC has a web site now after all (wonder how long that's been there).] -- call (301) 441-8770 to reserve seats; I think it's $8 for students and seniors and $10 for everyone else. Marching Through Time is $5/$2.)

Mood:: 'sleepy' sleepy
Music:: Shonen Knife, Let's Knife, really loud to drown out neighbours' stereo
