I'm not sure what you do for xmas, but if you like to have any kind of tree in the house, a live tree leaves sneaky splinters that usually get found sometime in the summer and all year round....consider a fake tree next year to avoid more splinters!

Haven't had a live Christmas tree here or in the last two places I've lived. No, these are splinters from dried-out floorboards that need refinishing (and in some cases, replacing). But thank's for the tip anyhow -- I'll keep it in mind the next time I'm considering a live tree.
