The screams of the vegetables

While listening to letscho74.mp3, by The First Vienna Vegetable Orchestra, it hit me: I was hearing the screams of the vegetables described in "Carrot Juice Is Murder" by The Arrogant Worms. (The other tracks I downloaded are not so wail-y.)

Thanks for the pointer to vegblog -- I'll monitor that for a while to see how much of it I find interesting. (It looks like it has the potential to be quite useful.)

I think I posted the URL to the English version of the orchestra's site in a past "link sausage" entry ... if not, I'll have to go back and edit it in.

This evening I cruelly submitted a butternut squash to unspeakable tortures involving an oven and a knife. I didn't try to play music on it first; I should have.
