Was experiencing migraine aura at the start of the Homespun Ceilidh Band concert at Balticon but stubborned my way through it despite not having a chance to take anything for it. Right arm started hurting so badly about 2/3 of the way through the concert, that I occasionally missed the strings when trying to strum, but I stubborned my way through that too. Broke the octave G string on my 12-string guitar. But all in all, despite only six members of the band being there (we were missing one drummer, the hammered dulcimer, and the cittern), we had a good concert. At the end of it, I was very, very dizzy. And quite out of breath.

Tried to take it easy the rest of the afternoon/evening. Sat down with Mike just before heading home, and practiced a waltz he wrote. We also worked together on the melody for a reel we'd each had ideas for.

I'm home. I'll sleep. Then I'll go back to Balticon, and this time I'll go look at the art show and the dealers' room. Got a lot of people I need to say hello to.
