Yesterday, Sunday, I never made it back to Balticon. I got up, started getting ready, and noticed that I was moving slower and slower and slower ... and decided that I should give up on getting there in the afternoon and just try for the evening. I crawled back into bed. Late last night, I woke up with the worst migraine I've had. The pain went up to eleven. Or twelve. And that's as much as I want to say about it right here for now.
Today I did get back to the convention, a bit later than I'd planned. Didn't get to network with some of the folks I needed to get ahold of, but I did get to say hello to, and hug, various people I hadn't gotten to see on Saturday. Way too many people that I just don't see often enough. I managed to hang around long enough to jam with Nancy for a little while after the dealers' room was all packed up (recorder and guitar, and recorder and recorder).
Very worried about some missing equipment.
Spent some time talking to other migraine-sufferers and fibromyalgia-sufferers about how much each of those can suck. Got a tip for something I have to photograph (took a couple shots on the way home, plan to go back with different film and different lenses). Did a little networking with new folks I hadn't known I needed to talk to. Managed to remember to take pain meds just often enough to keep the looming headache at bay, but decided to go home (stopping at a supermarket first) instead of going to "Easter dinner"[*], because I wasn't sure how long I'd continue that precarious balance. Probably crashing early tonight.
[*] Balticon was traditionally Easter weekend for a very long time, you see, and only recently moved to Memorial Day weekend. So the Chinese-restaurant run at the end of a Balticon is "Easter dinner" even though it's now the end of May. Okay, it seemed to make sense when someone asked me whether I was going, anyhow.
missed you

Have you tried cutting out all pork products and _anything_ with artifical dies? Especially the reds and yellows?
I knew someone who got much relief after removing them from their diet.
*hugs*
