Argh! I just spilled a whole mess of cooking oil (not hot, thank goodness) onto a suede pump. (And my skirt and my slip and my hose, but those are easier to clean.) Argh!

(Just phoned Sheepie to ask for advice, and she gave me some. Wish me luck.)

I'd gotten home and unloaded the car, and I smelled gas, which usually means a mouse ran over the pilot light and snuffed it out. So I was trying to re-light the stove, and I hadn't paused to change into a bathrobe and fuzzy slippers yet.

My currently-favourite pair of pumps, too.

But I think I got enough out that it's not going to show much. *whew*e

How does one pump suede? It's so very viscous! With a suede pump, apparently. Maybe you should have spilt pump oil instead?
