Poor miscarried kitty indeed, but I'm glad she's okay. Yes indeedy get her spayed before you ever let her see the great outdoors again!
As for whether cats are born or made to love humans, I don't know... I have a theory that some cats are custom-made for certain owner^H^H^H^H^Hcaretakers and beamed down from the mothership just for them. Our Lunette was like that. We discovered her on the street one night, hiding under a bush. No collar, no ID of any type, VERY young. Yet she came right to us. The moment we brought her into the house she knew right away what a food bowl and a litterbox looked like... after using both she looked up at us and said "Okay Mommy, Okay Daddy, I'm home now!" Mind you this was before we officially adopted her... she knew us better than we did :)
