Slept most of yesterday. Shoulder still hurts very badly, and I think part of the reason I feel so tired today is simply pain. Haven't made it to the pharmacy yet, so I'm almost out of pain meds -- think I can get through tonight and go to the pharmacy in the morning. Still haven't figured out why I have no taillights (the filaments on the bulbs are fine; and there's no fuse for the taillights (or the instrument light) in the one fuse box I've been able to find). Not sure yet whether I'm going to 3LF rehearsal tonight (the pain is a bit of a disincentive on top of the need to find someplace to crash overnight so I won't be driving home in the dark). If I don't go, I'll try to write up a con report and a cat update tonight; if I do go to rehearsal, I'll probably crash when I get home and try to write those tomorrow afternoon sometime.
If I try to schedule an appointment at my HMO, will they schedule one for sooner than my shoulder would just get better by itself (for that matter, will they be able to fit me in before Pennsic), and if so, will they do anything other than tell me to keep it in a sling and take painkillers? I'm pretty well convinced that calling them will not be useful.

I never saw the same doc twice, except the dermatologist, who I saw every month or do for two years.
Gotta love an HMO.

Alas, you have stumbled upon the secret of how HMOs stay profitable for their owners. :-(
I hope things are better soon! And that you're at least getting feline cuddles.
